Doc stepped forward, but Isa interrupted his act. “Do you like breathing?”
Cueball smirked. “Last I checked.”
“Then I suggested you back off before the Belfast president finds out you’re drooling over his daughter.”
Doc bit back a laugh at the expression on Cueball’s face. The other man stepped away, hands up in surrender. “No harm intended.” He glanced to Doc. “They grow them feisty in Ireland.”
He jerked his chin up. “Wouldn’t have it any other way, brother.”
Cueball chuckled and maintained his path toward the bedrooms. When Doc turned back around, he met Isa’s glowering face. The more time he spent with her only reiterated his longing to put her over his knee. She was sassy when needed and that stirred up the most primitive sensations in his mind. Suddenly, being uprooted from his familiar role as the club doctor wasn’t so bad.
“Are all MC members horndogs?”
Doc took a step closer and tugged on the bottom of her shirt. It barely covered her navel, leaving plenty of skin available to tempt any man. “Have you seen yourself, Isa? You’re the prettiest girl in the clubhouse.” His eyes fixed to her lips where she was rubbing them together. “And that fire of yours only makes it hotter.” He reached over and ran his knuckles down the side of her neck, goosebumps spreading at his act. “Because we all like to play with fire.”
“What if I burn you,” she whispered, the sound airy and uncertain.
He chuckled and stepped away. “You’re worth the scars, princess.”
Being a princess of a MC is not what Isadora Walsh ever expected. Isa expected she would run her shop in Northern Ireland with her two best friends, Orla and Niall, selling soaps and candles while she also worked on clothing designs. Her life instantly changed upon the death of her beloved mother and with the revelation that her father, Malcolm “Phantom” Kerry, was a president at the founding location of Macha MC. Uprooted and sent to Colorado to be watched by the local Macha MC chapter, Isa struggled with the sudden events. Added to the whirlwind, was a gorgeous tattooed man responsible for her protection. How could she possibly handle all of this?
Tad “Doc” O’Brien knew the day would come when he received “the call”. Spending countless hours pondering throughout his life, Doc knew with certainty, the call was stalking him relentlessly, waiting to strike. His dad had once told him, “You’re Irish and the son of the MC. They’ll call you one day.” With his skills as a paramedic and a former medical student, his knowledge made him invaluable and the club needed him now. With his Uncle as President of the Macha MC, Doc was tasked to watch over the princess, Isadora, and protect her at all costs. Little did Doc know what all this would entail or that his heart would be tied to this woman. Would he be able to love her and keep her safe?
Skye McNeil’s Doc T is the start of a new series surrounding Macha MC and I cannot wait for the next book. This introduction to Macha has left me with so many questions and intrigue about the club, its members, and what will happen next. Doc T is steamy, angsty, and action-packed. It will leave you wanting more and wishing you were in the Macha MC world!!!
